Wayne Dyer influenced me when he recorded, “You’ll see it when you believe it.” Transformational moments in my life came from putting an idea out to the universe, such as sobriety, that indeed, I saw it when I believed it. Changed my life for sure.

I enjoyed this read, and it resonates for me. Thank you. Experts, influencers and big loud mouths all seem to have one thing in common as far as I’m concerned.. that being a highly over rated opinion of themselves. I would rather spend time with a curious mind.

That was a good rant! I went to a counsellor once in my early 30’s who had the education (presumably) but no actual life experience. I had never been to a counsellor so I had nothing to compare it with, but I knew intuitively whatever that was wasn’t going to help. Lived experience is worth 10 degrees. No matter what the topic.

Thanks Kim. Yeah I’ve been there and done that with counselors and advisors more times than I care to admit. I guess that makes ME an expert in knowing what NOT to do. Hmmm 🤔 😂

Thanks for reading 🙏
